  • Fellow Mongers,
Speaking with Victoria House today and they have a Summer Special. $45.00 per night in building 4. This the building not on the water but still has a great view. Double and King Beds available. Same set up as VH.

Thanks, but already booked with sea breeze .
used to hear a lot about the sea breeze, haven't heard a peep about them lately for the past few years.  so much so, that i actually walked down that way to see if they were still there last year when i was in the su

let us know your thoughts about the hotel after your visit.

i stuck my head in there probably 5 or 6 years ago when they first took over the place.  at that time things were kind of sparse.  the bar wasnt open yet, pool wasnt  cleaned and open and the rooms didnt all have safes and it was just basic accomdations.

  • I have stayed at sea breeze a few times. The pool is on the small side, but it is clean, and nice.  The rooms are ok also clean.  I like it better than new garden, and it is 40.00/ night.

  • Why not give us a try at Mary Rose or Sosua Suites. You get a full one bedroom apartment complete with kitchen for less than New Garden, Vic House or Sea Breeze. Also, we have award winning customer service.

    Just a thought.

    Take care,

    Rick

How is the party/street noise at those properties, Rick, compared to VH and CC? That is a plus for those of us who need a little quiet to sleep.

VH and CC are great in that they are not located on top of the PC wildness.

  • Sosua Suites can be noisy being right downtown however, it is Sosua Suites location that is the selling point. Mary Rose on the other hand is extremely quiet. We had problems in the past with roosters but they have been removed and will not be coming back.

    Take care,

    Rick

  • Greg aka VPCHILL had to lay low a little bit because he was getting to well know and too popular with the Tourism police or something.  He told me today everything is great and back ok - VH is not closed and has not been,  In fact they are offering FREE breakfast and dinner with all prepaid bookings that are booked from now till December,  the deal expires at the end of August.

    I will post more soon.
