Best Hotel In Sousa

  • I'm heading to POP in late August for my second trip.  First one was to BB and I was sick most of the time with a cold so it wasn't really memorable and for this trip I wnat  concentrate on Sousa.  My question is....

If you eliminate the Chica factor (other than Chica friendly) and were just going to Sousa to relax by the beach,    what would you consider the most reasonably priced (40-80/night) hotel in the area?  I'm looking at this from the perspective of the facility, the room, view/beach access and  service

    Thanks in advance

  • Mary Rose is about $50. Jesse will take good care of you.

Nicest would be Terra Linda but your looking about $100.

Terra Linda offers a discount of 70 a night to frequent long term guests.  I still think Casa Cayena is a great hotel despite other members past dealings with them about 60 a night with breakfast. Those are the best centrally located hotels...  Mary Rose is a great hotel but a longwalk and I don't like wait for a shuttle.  For that money Europa is a better value closer and cheaper no offense to the Mary Rose sponsors on here, just my opinion

casa cayena is a good deal.  like ewe said, about 60 a day and it includes a good breakfast AND dinner as well.  just read in their newsletter they are continuing that deal thru this winter of free breakfast and dinner in the rate.

it is also about 150 yards from the newest beach in sosua, play de Alicia I think it is called.

I stay there for a few nights every time I go to the DR.  am treated well, nice place, safe.
