  • Want to go columbia however the mansion sound over price. Is it worth it. And where to go to find alternative activities , day spots.

  • LOL, first off Colombians are very sensitive to the spelling of Colombia with an "o" not a "u".  Anyway I've stayed at the mansion twice so far & I found it to be great, especially for first timers to the country.  Rooms there are about $100/night, but you have the availability of girls on site, and there is a bar exclusive to those staying at the mansion.  Prices are pretty much set and it is safe there. I highly recommend staying there the first time.  We have several trip reports with details if you get the fast pass, you can see those.  Besides staying there twice already, I've got trips booked with a big group of us in March, then myself in July.  Look around in the general discussions thread. I think there is some info in there on Colombia too.
