Husker Medellin 2/27-3/9

  •      Finally getting around to doing a summary report on my trip to Medellin, Colombia 2/27-3/9,2020.  Returned to a mess with the Corona virus going on.  Going into Colombia was the easiest of my trips as I did not have to fill out any form on the plane.  Entering customs, they had a list of like 17 countries that were on the banned list.  Just asked me the name of the hotel I was staying & breezed ion through.  Got a pick up from the Mansion driver which is now 90K, but included going through the new tunnel.  Plane arrived at 10PM.  With almost no traffic through the tunnel, got to the Mansion in 25 minutes, used to be twice as long.  As far as $ goes, Mansion was giving 3200p/$..  Cash exchange places ranged from 3240-3290 during my trip.  Figured out after I got home with refund on my ATM fees using the Schwab card, I got from 3529-3607p/$.  Highest amounts ever in all my years to Medellin.
Mansion changes.  They sent out a newsletter stating new ownership about a couple weeks before my trip & they were renovating the pool.  After getting there I found the changes are only for the good.  First of all it is not a new owner.  It is Robert who has bought out Aussie Greg.  Robert set up a corporation where he is owner and manager of the property and facilities of the Mansion, with Alexa having a small share.  Now Robert can do whatever he wants to the property, where Greg was reluctant to spend $ on improvements.  As said the pool is being redone.  It is retiled completely and they are now working on the far side and will be adding a heater to heat the pool.  Room 8 is being made larger and the balcony extended out from the other room upstairs that had a balcony.  His primary goal is to finish that & then have a mobile kitchen.  A cooking cart to cook breakfast under the balconies with a table set up.  After breakfast, then they will remove it for the rest of the day.  In the future additional rooms will be added where the kitchen & dining areas now sit.  Also can reopen the downstairs room when they close that original kitchen, as the health department made them close that room.  LeBar has an outside entrance now, no longer can just go down the stairs.  Chicas can get in no charge, but must register at both the bar and if they go to the hotel part with rooms, must check there as before.  Any guy not staying at the Mansion can get in rebar for 50K.  LeBar was open early afternoon around 1Pm, but no chicas. Don't know if it was temporary or permanent.  It was because with the work on the pool, the pool area was closed off.  As I was leaving , they were finishing the ceiling under the balcony & the pool area to sit, so it should be open to chicas now.

  • Futbol in Medellin.  Got to do a bucket list item, attend a Futbol(soccer) game in Medellin.  It was between the 2 biggest rivalries in all Colombia.  Atletico Nacional(Pablo Escobar was associated with this team) also was the team I was pulling for along with 75% of the crowd, the green team.; vs DIM which is the Medellin Independent team.  I had Johnathan one of the Mansion office workers get me tickets and also take me to the game.  Told him to get me the best tickets possible, didn't care how much it cost.  The game was sold out, but he was able to get me VIP like tickets on one side of the field that was under the covering of the roof to block the sun/rain.  It was like around &75 US for each ticket.  He was afraid it was too much, but  I laughed & told him it cost more than that just to park at the Cowboys stadium.  Actually I think you can get tickets as cheap as $10 in the end zones, but you are taking your life in danger sitting there.  It was the best sports experience I've ever been to & I've been to NBA finals and World Series finals here in Dallas.  The crowd was unreal, singing, dancing, chanting the entire game. Nothing in the US even comes close to that crowd & I've been to Texas A&M game when they played Nebr and the Aggies stand and chanted the whole game.  Doesn't even come close to comparing.   My head was pounding when I left. LOL  Game ended up in a tie.  Not many of my pics will load, fuck!

  • Con't report:   Mansion - You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login  US phone 1-312-546-4301.  I generally make my reservations at least 6 months in advance, usually about 1 year in advance to get the rooms and times I want.  There are 2 houses the main one M1 which has about 12 rooms, then M2(Castillo) which is about 4 blocks straight up a hill.  I swore never to stay there again after my only time there. The climb is a beating & I took taxis after the first couple days only about $3US.  Rooms at the Mansion run about $100 US equiv.  You can go outside the mansion & get a airbnb for like $60/night.  I like the mansion because of it's safety and the people speak english. Outside the mansion hardly anyone in Medellin speaks english.  The Mansion is located in Poblado which is the financial center of the city and one of the highest class neighborhoods on Medellin.  There are 2 major malls within 6 blocks which equal any mall we have in Dallas.  Tons of restaurants nearby.  The mall food courts even have silverware!!  Weather in Medellin is unreal, known as the city of eternal spring.  Out of 12 days, only rained briefly a few hours one day.  Normal temps go from 75 day to 65 night year round.  Remember it has a mile high altitude though.
In leBar at night, there were usually about 20 chicas all available.  Least I saw all week was about 12.  Normally only about a half dozen guys and half of those had chicas lined up like me.  Like I said outsiders can get in for 50K, but not many  Most guys from the outside coming in were former Mansion patrons.  Lotsa of guys stay a few days at the Mansion, then a few at an airbnb.  One popular place is right next to Oviedo Mall, a high rise before the Mall coming from the Mansion.  Also tons of ATM machines all around the Mansion & cash exchange places.  Back to the chicas, it was the best selection I've ever seen at the mansion.  Didn't really see any that I would kick out.  Lots of young ones. Big variety in sizes & shapes although a lot of spinners.  I was there for Robert's birthday party which is usually the first part of March.  There was over 100 chicas there throughout the night.  There was a male stripper for the chicas and a Mariachi band that played a lot for Robert.  Tons of fun and dancing.  The chicas favorite drink is Aguardiente which is what they call happy water.  They like taking shots followed by juice , water, or gatorade.  The bar stays open til 2AM.  Couple times a few came to my room til 4-5AM. LOL  Lots of the chicas love weed at the Mansion, but not tussi or hard core coke that I've seen
My favs Lina who is also Dirtymikes fav in Medellin.  She's cute, short & stocky, only comes up to my nose.  Very caring and GFE.  Saw her every other night or 6x during my stay.  I saw Sol and Syndi the rest of the nights.  During the day I saw my day fav Pucca (Laura Bustamonte on FB) She speaks english and has her own car.  I gave her contact because she is available as a tour guide or whatever , just FB message her.  She is also stocky with big all natural tits and red hair.  Very nice girl who went to beauty/massage school.  so she's smart, saved up to get a car.  She is very family oriented and stays with her parents, so she is not available on Sundays asset's family day.  She gives an excellent session, excels at BBBJ, and gives a great massage.  My other day girl is Karol.  She's older, normal proportioned body.  A real freak, loves to get spanked.  I hit her in the ass (greek)while she used my vibrator. LOL  All the chicas loved my vibrator & I had huge wet spots on my bed a lot of times.  Lina is a squirter who gushes. Normal sessions run about 200K.  More details on each will be in the fast pass section later.
I went to Rio Sur Mall just down the street to OM Mens spa on the 4th floor to get massages.  It's 100K for 1 hour, less than $30.  Like I mentioned before 3.6K/$.  Really professional massage.  I went for massage only twice, then another time  got extra sensual HJ for 60K from one girl. One girl didn't even offer extras, but thew other did, but I declined cause I had a session coming up.
I love to eat when I'm in Medellin.  Some of my favorite places close by are Denver grill in LaStrada which has an infrared grill in the middle of the table where you grill your own. They have beef, chicken, shrimp.  I have the beef - NY strip for about 60K or Colombian beef for 35K which is about as good as the NY Strip.  Another place is an italian restaurant nearby called Parmessan, a burger place next door is also great.  LeGris in Oviedo mall is my fav.  The beef medallions and the panko shrimp are fantastic.
At the food court, Frisby chicken is better than the chicken places in the US, full of flavor.  Also Lenos & Carbon and Fogo deChao are fantastic for steaks.  All the food in medellin is cheap!!!
Another thing I love to do is go to elCentro .  I always take a cab to Alpujarra station & walk from there shopping at kiosks and street venders. Being small like Colombians is to my advantage as I find many deals on shirts (knock offs) but excellent quality when I compare to my real stuff.  Nike, adidas, under armor are prevalent here.  But sizes are too small for most americans.  I barely fit in their medium & I usually wear a small US.  Looks around Botero Plaza.  Lots of street walkers there, but i wouldn't ever take any of them.  Heard they go as low as 20-30K.  Going back I catch a taxi at Alpujarra station again buy the park. always lots of taxis dripping off and pickingg up there. I just tell them Oviedo Mall which most know. Much simpler then giving directions to the Mansion.  Hope that gives a summary of Medellin.  Previous reports places to visit include the Real City  Tour, Comuna 13, Parque Avi, Cable cars, coffee tours, a trip to Guatape/El Peno, Pablo tours.  Fast pass section to come.

    Just saw this post.

At the very moment I write this I should be in Miami about to board my plane to MDE. Obviously...that is only in my dreams and I am at my home.

Funny enough...this trip would have been in lieu of a January trip to the Philippines and Thailand. I had to cancel that trip due to a major health crisis in my family but that would have taken me through Hong Kong in January and Beijing in February. It's funny because in December I was worried about the political protests in Hong Kong messing with my trip even though (due to my job in international media) by mid-December I knew that central China had something going on regarding some strange new flu that seemed to be growing there.

Had no idea it would become this global thing. I probably would have been quarantined if I had made that trip.

Anyway...yeah. 4th of July...I've got my doubts. I may have to cancel an unthinkable THIRD trip for this year! :(

  • the cancellation policy is very liberal right now for any trips booked before the end of the month. in essence, buy the ticket and cancel, for any reason ,(decided not to go) and they will put all the money towards another ticket at a later date with no change fee.

book a trip , they are cheap, it is money in the bank
