    • Don't shoot the messenger!  Just thought I'd report the Oxygen Resort south of Cabarete has closed.  They have merged with Blue Paradise ... which is an all-inclusive beachfront compound just northwest of Cabarete.  The website is You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login.  I started my DR trips at Oxygen in 2009-10, but quickly graduated to BB then Sosua.   Too bad Oxygen didn't go to the BB model - the rooms and grounds were fabulous.  Just an FYI.

    • Thanks for the update. Many of us at BB's on my last trip were discussing this too. The consensus is they'll be out of business by the end of the year, just like all of the other overpriced clip joints down there that come and go. O2 had it just right at their price level that was absolute top rate for the DR. At least he delivered.

    • I dont think we will be closing anytime soon.

    Blue Paradise DR has been around for along time and with our aquistion of Oxygen Retreat we are busier then ever.

    I have noticed alot of mis-information about our business, the merger and in general.

    Feel free to ask me any questions you guys might have and I will answer them as best as I can.
