Guys,

I just finished a 6 night trip in the DR.  My last two night I stayed at Mary Rose.  I was really impressed with the accommodations and wanted to share my thoughts and pictures.

I e-mailed Jessie ahead of time to reserve the room.  He of course gave me the IFTC discount so my two night were $117 including tax.  Once I arrived checkin was fast and easy.  I choose a downstairs rooms because why walk up stairs if I don't have to.  (yeah I am not the gym guy).

The Condo was great, bathroom living room, kitchen and of course the bedroom.  Cable TV which I never turned on.  At first I thought I will never use the sofa, but ok.  (I would later use the sofa guys and it was awesome....)

Bathroom had great water pressure and hot water no issues.  Room for one in the shower but again it was a good size bathroom.

Kitchen had everything you need to cook, which I did not do.  They offer a 5 gal or liter jug of water for 50 pesos which I bought and chilled a pitcher of water in the frig along with making some ice.  I bought a bag of coffee so I could make my own they even have a coffee pot in the room, you will see from the pictures.

Bedroom-was very comfortable.  the AC is in this room so you will sleep very well.  If you keep the bedroom door open during the day it keeps the rest of the unit very comfortable.  The bed was just right for me I left very well each night.  Once along and once with a nice spinner Haitian

Overall- I would absolutely stay here again.  If I find any fault with the place it is the distance to downtown, but they have motos right outside the gate to call down for your ride into town.  I actually did walk it twice just for the exercise and it is not that far.

My only regret is I didn't have more time.  I connected up with a couple of guys staying there and we had a blast each nite and hung out some during the day as well.

Hats off to Jessie and his team there I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Sousa.
