May accommodations...

  • I did speak to Rick at Rockys and he mentioned free transfers back and forth from the airport for being a member. I thought that was their norm when staying a week but I am OK with that. I want close to town but not real noisy. I think the Mary Rose is to far and girls are too far. I want girls close to the hotel but not a 24/7 party. Would the Hotel Colibri be a better choose? Or Perla? They are all girl friendly, correct? My Spanish is minimal but if I enjoy Sosua Rossetta Stone here I come? Is everything close to Doc Rosen and Pedro Clisante going to be too loud at night?

  • Mary rose offers a shuttle every 2 hrs back and forth and its only 5 mins away via shuttle.

hotel colibri is chica friendly and a nice hotel and they will offer members of iftc a discount but in my honest opinion Rockys Mary rose gives more bang for your buck and i heard hotel el colibri sometimes has families staying there as well.  I can not say i have seen that because i never stayed there but from reading the trip reports from some of the members that is what i heard.

Go to our puerto plata trip report section and check out some of the reports

  • I see you have not purchased the Fast Pass so you may not have access to the Puerto Plata trip report section   :(
