    • Hey noob here  ;D

    Thinking of taking my first trip to Dominican and staying at Rocky's.

    Anyone have tips or experience ?

    Would be appreciated.

     Welcome to the site! If you scroll down a bit (depending on access privileges), you will see a section devoted solely to Rick, (the owner of ROCKYS). I have been to Sosua and met Rick, ate the ribs in his bar along with CEO (KICKASS food!!) and I even have reservations in 7 days for his MARY ROSE CONDOMINIUMS as well as the party of the year.

      A good guy,who will really do his best for you. Great accommodations at a fair price and centrally located.

    • I stay at the Sosua Suites across from Rockies . There you can get a condo for the price of the average hotel room.

    Al,  what u need to do is get yourself a Fast Pass You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and it will allow you to see a lot more of this site then u can actually see,  Especially the juicy trip reports and soooo much more.....

    • RICK is a great host and is a wealth of knowledge on mongering In Sosua.  I have stayed at Mary Rose and Sosua Suites. Both are  a very good value and Ricks customer service is the best I have had anywhere in the RD in my 33 trips.

    In  july I left my iphone phone in El Flow at closing time.  In the morning when I discovered it was gone I used my laptop and find my iphone to locate it.  It was in Las Charmicos.  I was able to lock it from my laptop.  Google map showed the house it was in.  I told Rick what happened and minutes later he had me in a taxi with a BIG driver to go get my phone. When I showed up the short bartender from El Flow acted a little surprised.  Honestly  I don't think he stole the phone. I gave him a small reward and got my phone back.
    Trust me you cant find better customer service than Rick offers.
