Hey guys, long time lurker here from Brooklyn, NY. Me and my boys are heading down today to Sosua, anyone else is going to be out there this weekend, also going to use the search function to look up info I need but if you guys want to share good places to meet women, I hear Rumba is closed

, places to eat or anything else please share, thanks

Welcome shoalin. I will be arriving this weekend this as well but spending the first few days at BBs with one of my boys from Brooklyn for his first trip. We'll be in sosua on Monday though. One thing about rhumbas is that it recently opened again as a restaurant with less barstools and televisions but was recently raided and closed again during the week. Not sure of their current status. Either way there will still be plenty to do and I may even run into you if you are still there.

Thanks for the reply, and yeah hopefully we run into each other. I was happy to hear tgat Rumba openned back up, I honestly depend on the info from this board to map out where to go. I heard the casino is another fine place to meet some chicas, is that still up and running

No problem. Yes and no. You likely won't need to make it that far since it's more of an after hours spot. Yes there have been some changes but the main strip is still going to be your best hunting grounds. Head to the beach during the daytime since that's where most girls go. From there you should be able to find a few at Bourbon Street Restaurant around 6-12pm as well as city lights. Classicos will be open and full by midnight. If you don't want to pay the entrance fee you can always hangout downstairs. The casino was usually where everyone went after 3am if they still hadn't found anything. A new club had opened out near the other casino near Playa Chiquita but heard that was closed also. On the weekends everything closes at 3am besides that and Sun-Wed everything closes at 1am.

Not sure where you are staying but try and hit Rancho Typical and Don Andres Hotel bar. Used to get most girls at great price before they would head to Rumba's. So now that it's closed should be better.

Thanks Swizz416. I will be in the POP area beginning this Sunday. I will stay one night (next Friday night) in Sosua ("So-Sewer"). I also enjoy a little time there. I will post a short update upon my return. As you say, there are always a few good places to hunt.
